It's heavy, but I purchased it to charge my Chromebook when I'm out, so capacity was the main consideration, I have other and much lighter Anker chargers that are better for travel. Takes a while to charge but it has a huge capacity of 20,000 mAh, so don't expect it to be fully charged in an hour.

I probably got a lemon of a charger, I love anker products but this one has problems. I contacted the seller on their website to try troubleshoot the problem.

I’m still having problems with it not charging my device. When charging it makes the noise it’s charging but won’t charge devices all the way. I’ve tried it on other phones in the house and it’s the same thing.

I had purchased another power bank before this that was cheaper, and was very disappointed and wound up with a refund. Now that I have purchased the Anker powerbank though, I am very pleased. It takes a while to charge, maybe as much as 24 hrs for empty to full, but its a big capacity!
I wouldn't say this is a backpacking battery, as it is fairly heavy, but it is quality and the battery really holds up to capacity claims!
I can charge my phone at least 4 times empty to full from a full charge on this 20,000 mAh bank. Highly satisfied.
