Does MagGo Magnetic Wireless Charger (Pad) come with a USB-C wall charger?

Please note that a USB-C wall charger is not included with the purchase of MagGo Magnetic Wireless Charger (Pad). For the best charging experience, we recommend using a Power Delivery (PD) compatible wall charger with an output of 25W or higher.

Is this charging pad compatible with Android phones?

Not compatible with Android. The charging pad is designed for devices with magnetic wireless charging, available only in iPhone 12 and later models. For optimal Qi2 15W charging, the device must be an iPhone 13 or newer, running on iOS 17.2 or later.

Can a phone case affect wireless charging?

For the best wireless charging experience, we recommend using Apple's official magnetic phone cases. You should avoid cases thicker than 2.5 mm and non-magnetic cases, as they may affect charging efficiency.

Why doesn't my iPhone show the charging circle when using magnetic charging?

Firstly, verify if your iPhone is a model from the 13/14/15 series, as only these models support magnetic charging. Next, ensure that your phone's operating system is updated to iOS 17.2, as this is necessary for the feature to function properly.

Solid built, magnets align perfectly to my new phone MagSafe case, and it is charging my phone. The charging is not as fast as a Fast charger, but I can stream and have the screen on and still charging more than the phone discharges. Also the phone case is made of thick plastic and that reduces the field, so I am fine with the charging rate.
It is getting warm, but not hot to touch.
It could be more useful if shipped with an USB adapter

For the most part good charger. Charged my IPhone 13 pretty quickly. The only issue is it does get quite warm. I measured the temperature with a infrared thermometer and it was around 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit] after charging for about 40 minutes.

We got new iPhones that support Magsafe charging and wanted to take advantage of the quick connect/disconnect of the magnetic magsafe connection.

I bought 3 of these and all arrived quickly. There's a nice hefty weight to it which I believe helps to dissipate heat transferred during the charging process. The iPhones detect that a fast charger is connected and begin to charge right away.

The issue I have and is no fault of Anker, my Maine Coon cat has decided this is exactly what he needs in his life and has taken to chewing on the supple, rubbery USB cable. Time from unboxing to chewing was 15 mins. Sigh. We had a talk and it seems to be sorted out now. Our phones are charged and Mr. Chewy has gone back to chewing his own toys.

Works great, exactly like the Apple-branded does. On my 12pro, it does heat up the phone a little, and as it heats up you can tell the charging speed drops off quite a bit.

A cable definitely is faster, but for my use (phone's port broke) this is a great work around. I'll be using it nightly for my next phone to try and have less cycles on the port.

One thing to keep in mind, this needs a PowerDelivery USB-C to work, 15 or 20watt is better, but I like the 10 watt one as it doesn't heat up as much, which is better on the battery for overnight slow charging

I have 3 of these . They work same as apple mag safe . Yes these chargers do get hot , so hot phone has notifications saying phone stop charging due to over heat ( only sometimes) . It works good if it doesn’t bother you . At over heating issue comes after 1 hr of charge basically from 20 % to 60 % it do fast charger then something it does gave that over heat message . If you are the person who put on charge at night and take it off in the morning believe me you will not notice this is even happening.
