I'm an audio engineer and my experience with these inexpensive amps has taught me that audio excellence is not a reasonable expectation - IOWs, there will be noise, certain frequencies will crap out, clarity and harmonic balance is a relative term, and there will not be much headroom in terms of volume and high-end, etc. Considering this was an expected outcome, I have to say that this little amp did not surprise me and I got exactly what I assumed I would; it does the job it was intended for. I cannot offer a comparative review of similarly priced units, but I can say that I highly recommend this particular one. My only bit of feedback for the manufacturer is to stop printing the "features and functions" in permanent ink on the top of the unit - it looks cheesy - I already bought the unit; stop selling me.

FM reception in my area is not great, but barely functional with this unit. Bluetooth does not work. Audio ok, but mostly speaker dependent. Max power in is 60W so 30W per channel. Power switch only works for 110vac. When using 12vdc power unit is on all the time. I do not have a MP3 player, so not tested. There is no setting for MP3, only Bluetooth, FM, and Line.
