This $14 mount is honestly the best value out there... I looked at $50 and $120 options and I figured I'd give this mount a try as it was cheap.

It has not disappointed me since I realized I didn't need the fancy adjustability options that the $120 mount offered (like exact rotation by marked degrees).

This mount is powder coated white and seems like steel as it's very heavy. The adjustment screws have nylon or delrin washers that tighten nicely. However, there is some noticable movement/vibrations due to this - for example if I shook the wires or bang on the walls. This is not an issue for me since it's mounted on the ceiling in my bedroom on the top floor of my house. If there was foot traffic above (for example if this was mounted in the basement), I think there would be very slight vibrations that would be seen in the progression image.

Either way, you can't go wrong at this price point.

The images shown on the product page show a huge projector. However I mounted this to an Epson PowerLite 1751, which is a 3 hole mount projector. I simply used 3 arms instead of the 4 provided, and did not use the extension bits. I was able to position the projector perfectly and lock it into its final position very easily.

The two plastic covers where the mount touches the ceiling were a bit finicky to get seated directly, but they are finally in place and haven't moved. Getting them on cause me to flattens some sorts in my popcorn ceiling sure to mis-alignment, but that's my fault... Practice putting it on before you mount this securely to the ceiling.

I liked that the package came with a bag of different sized and length screws... For $14, this is a steal!

Picked this up, quite frankly, due to the cost factor. A.k.a., it was cheap. As a disclaimer, I've never mounted a projector before, but have wall mounted my share of TVs. This shouldn't be too hard, right? Hit stud, attach mounting plate, put together whatever brackets/arms are required, attach to projector, hang the darn thing.

Piece of cake — if you have an advanced degree in Engineering, or have a 'poorly stenciled diagram' to English (or your native language) translator handy.

The instructions here are... lacking, and that's being polite. On the plus side, they come in about ten to twelve languages, so people across the globe can share in your frustration. Really, that just means that some poor dude in Poland is probably as frustrated as I was and ready to taking a running kick at it Homer Simpson-style. At best, you get a hard to decipher diagram and one abbreviated line of text per step. At least one step was out of order, or any order that makes sense anyway. Some of the diagrams seemed to be outright wrong (double up on a washer)? As well, if your projector is a three-hole mount as mine was (Epson Home Cinema 880), you won't need all the arms, so just leave one out. In my case, I only needed one extender, and two arms without the extender, which the instructions never suggest is even possible, though it is - however, the mount will not be perfectly center to the unit.

Now, not being center is no big deal, but make sure you keep in mind that the projector's weight may then shift to one side. If you install it so that the mount tilts front to back, as one or two people's photos online have shown, your projector is going to be lopsided. Great, it will tilt down, but your image will be slanted. So instead make sure that you install the mount so that it instead tilts side to side - after hanging the projector, you can tighten things up and you'll have a level picture.

Ultimately this got the job done, feels sturdy, and my projector is perfectly level and probably won't be touched again for years. However, whoever cobbled together the instruction manual should never, ever be allowed near any sort of technical writing again, ever. I wouldn't trust them to write up a how-to guide on a Lego set. In fact, I'd pay them not to write one.

This model is excellent quality, however it is not necessarily universal and is designed to adjust size and position on 4 points. Unfortunately our projector only had 3 mounting points- We made it work for our BenQ TH685i Projector but a different style would have worked better. The instructions are basic and quite easy to follow.

Die Halterung hat sich als eine zuverlässige und praktische Lösung erwiesen, um meinen Projektor sicher und optimal zu positionieren.

Zunächst einmal ist die Traglast von 15 kg beeindruckend und ermöglicht es mir, eine Vielzahl von Projektoren sicher an der Decke oder an der Wand zu befestigen. Die Halterung besteht aus solidem und robustem Material, das mir das Vertrauen gibt, dass mein Projektor sicher an seinem Platz bleibt.

Die Montage der Halterung war einfach und unkompliziert. Die mitgelieferte Montageanleitung war leicht verständlich, und alle benötigten Montagematerialien waren enthalten. Die Halterung passte problemlos zu meinem Projektor und der Decke bzw. Wand, was den Installationsprozess angenehm machte.

Die neigbare Funktion der Halterung ist äußerst praktisch. Sie ermöglicht es mir, den Projektionswinkel nach Bedarf anzupassen und das Bild optimal auf die Leinwand auszurichten. Egal ob ich den Projektor etwas nach oben oder unten neigen möchte, die Halterung erlaubt mir, die perfekte Projektionsposition zu finden.

Projector is sturdy and does not move at all. The cover is a great addition as it hides the area where it's bolted to the ceiling. You don't really need it as it doesn't look bad without it either, put I just put it on. For the price, you can't go wrong. Excellent product.
