It boggles my mind that in 2024 a security camera doesn't have any form on on-board storage because it means you MUST pay a monthly plan to record footage to the cloud. So if the internet ever goes down, this will record nothing locally so that the camera can later upload footage or sync with the cloud. At the price this costs, even if they could fit something like 4 or 8 GB of onboard storage, it would be something, at least in the event of the internet going down. Some other security cameras offer on-board storage built-in, so that makes this a hard value to see.

I've had this device since March and on average it detects people 3 out of 4 times. Sometimes I pass right infront of it and it doesn't detect any movement. It's not bad but it's not perfect either, i would say detection rate is around 70-80%
