> The character of this Echo is dramatically better than the predecessors; it adds a nice decorum to the room/space where it is placed.
> The mics on this thing are much better than those of the Echo Show - I have an Echo Show 8, and it sometimes does not hear me even if I scream! The placement of the mics is not always clever on the screened versions.
> The temperature sensors are reliable and consistent enough to be used in a routine based on temperature.

The bad:
> I bought a pair to use as a home theatre system. Before buying a subwoofer from the Amazone ecosystem, I wanted to test them first. I have two fire TVs and created a home theatre using the two. However, the system worked for a few days, then suddenly stopped working! I have redone the entire process many times and followed many troubleshooting steps prescribed by Amazon reps, but all in vain! I ended up returning them.
> I think the speakers could have more bass. I like the clarity and crispness, but it can have more thumping bass.
> The sound sensors are lousy. They are the most inconsistent technology that Amazon should perfect before releasing as a feature! It does not qualify for quality yet!
