I use this boom arm with my Razer Seiren X and it works fantastically. I couldn't have asked for a better boom arm at this price range. I also am using a Neewer pop filter, as seen in the image, and it is also working very well with this setup. There's plenty of room to mount the pop filter to the boom arm with lots of room to adjust it in front of the microphone.
If you need a cheap boom arm, just to start out, or even just as a backup, this is one hundred percent worth the money.
Original Dec 2019, edited May 2021:
Still using this original boom arm to this day, now with a Røde Podmic microphone on it. It still holds up incredibly well and serves its purpose daily. Still does exactly what it should, works perfectly as it did when I got it. The Røde Podmic is an unusually heavy unit, and this boom arm, when tightened all the way, is still more than capable of supporting the weight of the Podmic in almost any position of the arm.
In short, over a year later, this boom arm is still one hundred percent worth the money.

Pros
- My desk only has a horizontal side where I could clip the boom arm since it's a big plank that goes from one wall of my room to an other, tought i'd have a hard time clipping it beside me and be able to talk with it, but i could do it easily without any effort.
- All the joints are ajustable and stay strong where you want them to stop.
- Could fit my Blue Yeti even tho the description said it couldn't!
- Easy to use
- Can easily fit a pop filter
- Look great
- Feel's solid so far
- Price was good when compared to other boom arms.
Cons
- Will damage the bottom of ur desk if you don't put a little piece of cardboard or anything under the screw/clip
- Will shake if you move ur desk too much, and the vibration will be heard from the mic if you don't have any type of shock mount.

Great use for the price, BUT, you'll see comments about the flimsyness of the base. Do not think it will not happen to you, especially if you'll need to get the mic farther from the base for extended periods of time. This WILL bend your arm base (the metal tube that is slided vertically in the base) and it WILL break after a while. I thought: "pff, won't happen to me" and it did.
For the record, I use a AT 2035, which is in the lightweight range regarding microphone weight, so heavier will break even quicker.
It's your call: cheap, but usable for a while. I don't regret my purchase but 6 months is a bit short for the price.
Picture: You can see the bent metal tube, it should be straight up.

For those trying to attach a Blue Snowball:
In order for this to work with the Blue Snowball, there are a few steps.
1) Unscrew the microphone holding piece if it is connected to the mic stand.
2) See the two straight notches on the bottom of the mic holder? What you are looking at is the converter piece.
3) I recommend getting a flat-head screwdriver and unscrewing the converter piece from one of the two notches.
4) Unscrew your Blue Snowball from it's original stand, and screw the converter piece into the Blue Snowball.
5) Attach/Screw the Snowball through the converter piece onto the microphone arm, and you now have everything set up.
Additional Notes:
For me, I personally have the Blue Snowball upside down (as you can see in the attached photo), but you can have it the right way if you want. This mic arm is able to properly hold this somewhat cumbersome microphone fairly well.

If you have a shockmount, it may get a tad heavier but still can adjust well.
Cannot attach my pop filter to it, or it weighs it down too much that it is nonadjustable.
Luckily I have somewhere else to attach my pop filter close by.
Make sure you don't have a heavy mic along with a shock mount. It probably cannot sustain that much weight.
Overall, good buy for what I wanted. Would purchase again in the future, but may also look into one that can handle more weight.
EDIT: I had purchased this item on Jan 28. It is now Nov 1. It has been roughly been 8 or 9 months since I have bought this stand. It started giving me trouble about 3 months ago (red flag). Since then, the knob to tighten the top has broken. The stand is drooping down and can't hold itself upright. Also, the tightening screw on the base is no longer tightening to stop it from moving left and right. I didn't think I would get this many problems since the rating of this item seemed to be amazing. If you don't want a long lasting stand, this will do the job.

For instance, I bought this microphone which doesn't use a microphone clip, and instead has the screw built-into the microphone itself and found out the screw connection on the bottom of it won't fit! This microphone has a standard size connection, but the boom here does not. FIFINE TECHNOLOGY USB Microphone,Fifine Plug &Play Home Studio USB Condenser Microphone for Skype, Recordings for YouTube, Google Voice Search, Games(Windows/Mac)-K668 If you just search for "USB Microphone" and look at the list, pretty much everything in the top 20 there will not work with this boom because of that. What I managed to do it shove my microphone into the clip that came with this boom. It had to stretch pretty good and is probably ruined now for any other mic, but it works for me and the price was right.
On a positive note, the springs and boom and quite strong, stay pretty well in place, move easily etc. All-in-all it works great for me, but if I was getting it for any other reason or happened to buy a mic that simply wouldn't fit, I would have been very disappointed with this one. So beware!
UPDATE: Ok, I was just doing some research after writing this review. It seems somewhat strangely common that these desk mic booms come with a 3/8" screw connector like this one does. I'm a musician and I've never seen this type of connection before. I've always dealt with the 5/8" connection, which has come with every mic I've bought. Some other booms I just looked up come with an adapter that you can screw into the boom to change it to fit a 5/8" mic clip. Here is an example of one: On Stage MA200 5/8-Inch Male to 3/8-Inch Female Mic Screw Adapter . With this, you can attach a standard microphone clip. I've updated my review to 5-stars since this was my only complaint and seems to be easy to fix.
