As the title states, I tested all four ports and found them to be in good working order. I’m able to power my controller, read and write to my USB flash drives, and even charge my phone (albeit slowly) with no issues.
I have a couple qualms, one of which is that I got sent a used unit; there are some faint markings on the body which clearly indicate some use. The other is the presence of coil whine when the hub is under load (i.e charging my phone). It’s faint but high-pitched and quite audible in a quiet room. I guess you get what you pay for folks.
Edit: Nevermind. It’s even worse than what I gave it credit for. The power cuts off intermittently during use, even if I connect only one thing at a time. Makes the thing totally useless for things that require constant uptime, like controllers and Bluetooth receivers. Frustrating and will have to return.
Edit: Aceele reached out to make things right and sent a new unit. After a week of testing, I can safely say that this one works perfectly as intended. No power cut offs and no coil whine! Nothing to complain about so bumping up to 5 stars.
