The AUSLET 24 Pack Sound Proof Panels are pretty much as pictured. They are made from really basic packing foam, much like what is used for shipping. I was hoping for something more robust, but this seems to be the standard and what is required for soundproofing foam. Each panel weighs around 64g to give you an idea of the density. This is a one-way install. Once stuck down, you will not be able to reposition them or get them off without damaging the wall. When opened they had a very strong chemical smell and needed to be aired out in my garage for 2 days. They aired out fine, and the smell went away. These are more functional than aesthetic. Because the foam is so low density and porous, cleaning is not easy. A vacuum with the long-bristled brush is about the only method I can think of. When tiled, the seams are visible because the bumps don’t match up perfectly. If you are looking to improve acoustics than these may be for you, but they are not overly stylish.

At the time of writing this review, this 24 pack of sound proofing tiles costs $55.99. There is currently a $5 coupon available for a total discounted price of $50.99.

I get a lot of echo/reverb in my basement because of the cement floor and finished ceiling. I need a way to deaden some of the sound so my friends will get off my back about it.

I've posted a bunch of these sound proof tiles around my monitor, on the wall immediately to my right, and on the ceiling above me. I used 16 total so far and the difference was immediately noticeable on the receiving side. Apparently I have no echo now, and my voice comes through considerably more clean. My mom also mentioned that I sounded better when I face timed her from my phone.

Installation is really easy. These have self adhesive backs, making PERMANENT installation easy. I tried to take one tile off after installing it, to move it over 1 inch, and I couldn't without ripping the paint/drywall off.

There was a small odor upon opening. I let them air out and expand, and they were odorless and fully expanded within 24 hours.

These have a pretty typical build quality. I've installed sound proof foam before and these look, smell and feel exactly the same. However, getting 24 for $51 is a pretty solid deal especially with the self adhesion.

Now that most of the world works from home, we all need a quiet space to work and That’s a little difficult when you have children at home especially now that just around the corner so they’re gonna be home all day. I needed something that will help. Keep the noise and keep the noise out as well.
This 24 pack of acoustic foam panels actually made a difference for me.
24 was not enough to do the entire room, but it was enough to do the one wall and Adjacent wall.
These panels are easy to install just simply peel off the back and stick it up on the wall, but make sure the wall is clean first and also knows that if you were putting it on drywall like I did make sure you have it where you want to because once you remove it, it may and most likely will peel the drywall off the wall so when they’re up there up.
For the average of the $50 price tag you get a decent set of noise canceling foam panels.
Also good for game rooms and maybe music rooms if you have an at home recording studio or something like that.
Recommended!

The AUSLET Sound Proof Panels are a fantastic addition to my home office and recording studio. These self-adhesive panels are easy to install and provide excellent soundproofing. The egg crate design effectively absorbs sound, reducing echo and background noise. Each panel is 12" x 12" x 2", and the 24-pack offers great coverage for larger areas. The high-density foam feels durable and performs exceptionally well. These panels have significantly improved the acoustics in my space, making recordings clearer and more professional. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance sound quality in their recording environment or reduce noise in their home office!

Overall these will cut down on reverb/echoes in your workspace and this can be considered a great starter kit. Adding several panels to each wall had a small to medium but definitely noticeable effect/change. The panels are easy to install, and the sticky pad is quite sticky. These will stick well to drywall, but I can't say how well it would work on concrete or other surfaces.

About $50.00 for 24 is average pricing - these things should be cheaper in my opinion (all soundproofing should be cheaper, to be honest). Similar product have similar pricing. I can recommend them because they do work, and the price is 'okay.' There are better sound proofing options, but they get very expensive quickly. These will help in any situation and are great starter packs for soundproofing. Great starter set.
