Essentially it is running Android OS underneath, is an ultra wide frame panel, Build in 16GB with extra space to store more in SD card or USB stick up to 128GB. It comes with power adapter which is required. Does not run on battery.LCD resolution is 1920 x 1080P which is basically HD. The screen is IPS type which is extremely bright and vivid. High res pictures look fantastic. There is a SLEEP mode that turns it off at specified schedules for the week and turns it back on . This is convenient so that its not too bright at night.The frame accepts images from usb or SD card directly. So if you had a bunch of images you want to preload, you can do that via these options. Otherwise this frame uses a popular digital photo frame content delivery platform from cloud, called FRAMEO.FRAMEO: You create an online profile. Frameo is available in may digital frames today Not just this ARZOPA frame. It isnt an online photo repository. It's just an online cloud based content delivery mechanism where you can upload photos from you phone, to a FREAMO-enabled digital frame. YOu can add multiple FRAMEO based digital frames on your single profile. Each you can deliver pictures to each picture frame individually or group of frames altogether. The FRAMEO cloud's job is to just push the content to the group or individual frames registered. It does not hold albums or pictures in the cloud. This is good and bad. Good because i dont want yet another cloud holding my pictures. But not so convenient when you have multiple FRAMEO frames in your house/office and you want to load up all of the same pictures to each frame. For example, you purchase one frameo frame, then later on you buy a second one, then you cant "sync" the new frame with ALL the old content from original frame via cloud since cloud has no storage. The only way to accomplish this is get a usb stick, "backup" function on you old frame to save all pictures to usb, then move the usb to new frame and "Restore" it. Then you'll have both frames with same pictures together.Pictures look fantastic. IF your picture isnt 16x9 aspect ratio, it does a great job with the "fill" function to "zoom" into the picture to fill out the frame. For portrait orientation shots, it gives you option to "blur" sides or blackout the sides. One thing that is above and beyond is VIDEO playback. It allows you to upload a short 15sec video clip and it plays it on the screen with audio.I discovered by accident that this frame can also turn "portrait" orientation. Auto rotates the screen. I dont recommend this because its a 16x9 frame and viewing pictures in this tall aspect ration is awkward. But, its there if you like it.Mounting wise, you can stand it on desktop or use a VESA mount on the wall .. . . OR, use a few 3M command strips to mount on wall.Overall It is a fantastic digital frame. A pleasure to look at, especially because of the vivid screen. A wonderful gift for grandparents who dont want to configure anything and you remotely upload picture content. A wonderful office frame too to bring joy to your workplace.
