Ingredients: Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 1000 IU (25 mcg) Non-Medicinal ingredients: medium chain triglycerides, dl-α-tocopherol, water.
AOR’s vegan vitamin D3 is sustainably sourced from lichen and not from the commonly used oil from sheep’s wool. It is rapidly converted in the body to the active hormone 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol and helps in the development and maintenance of bones and the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.

AOR’s Vitamin D3 is sustainably sourced from organic Lichen, making this a vegan-friendly formula. It is suspended in a medium chain triglyceride solution for maximal absorption and has a neutral flavour, making it effortless to take.
Vitamin D is best known for its role in aiding with calcium absorption from the digestive system and promoting bone formation. However, it has many other actions including balancing immune function and supporting mood. Vitamin D is synthesized by the skin following exposure to ultraviolet rays from sunlight, but many people do not spend enough time outdoors and become deficient in this essential vitamin. Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with numerous health conditions including rickets, autoimmune conditions, diabetes, SAD (seasonal affective disorder), pain and frequent infections.
There is an obvious need to supplement with extra vitamin D especially in the elderly and children, during the winter, and for people with diseases. Vitamin D3 is the most effective form of supplemental vitamin D (compared to vitamin D2, a less absorbable form).

Buyer Beware (ordered 100ml, got 50ml)
I love this product and use it daily, so I ordered one for my Mom; not only because I recommended it to her, but also she has a hard time taking supplements in the form of tablets/pills, so this (liquid) is perfect.I’m extremely disappointed that I ordered and paid for what was advertised (100ml bottle) and received 50ml only (with a packaging skew sticker indicating 100ml).Error in advertising/packaging or intentional???. Regardless, even with contacting the seller, nothing has been done—I haven’t been replied to, haven’t been compensated nor reimbursed.
