Fast connection
I recieved this to test it from the company as I had one of the older models. The older model worked good. The only thing I didn't like is it had a cable and then the unit. It was a little slow to connect but worked fine. Now this new model connects almost instantly. I have a 2021 Toyota Tundra. And it's always been a pain because if I want Spotify or Google maps I would have to plug my phone in. Texting and phone calls. Would Bluetooth to the truck but not Android auto stuff. Now it works like it should. I can leave my phone in my pocket. Start my truck and it connects. I have all the controls on my infomation center.I've seen some people say that it's hard to connect. I had mine connected in less than a minute. Basically plugged it into my truck. Turned on the Bluetooth on my phone. Searched for a new device and then it found it. And I clicked on paired device. Done. I've had it for a week now. It's never come unpaired

This wireless adapter is a fantastic upgrade for those wanting to switch from a wired to a wireless Android Auto setup. I have Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 2024, and It was easy to install—just plug it into car's USB, connect your phone via Bluetooth and WiFi, and I am good to go, stable, lag-free connection, it is way better connecting your phone wired as I always forget to connect it and it is always in my pocket, and only remember when i need to get navigation, music, and calls. Plus, it preserves all original car operations such as screen touch and voice control through steering wheels buttons also hey google works great by long press on the voice button.

very easy to set up and works well, nice to not have to plug in all the time, as others have noticed it does drain the battery to be wireless and you will have to plug in after a while but used it on a 4 hour drive and still had some battery left. I would recomment good size too.

I bought this for my factory wired radio. Product looks great, very nice design. I think the problem was that the usb c cable was missing from my package and I had to use an aftermarket one. The steps are easy to follow to connect but I think it needs the right cable. Would recommended buying .

Overall Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆
As an engineer who deals with technology daily, I had high hopes for the Anyfar B4 Pro Android Auto Wireless Adapter, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Here’s a detailed review based on my usage with a 2023 RAV4.

Installation and Setup: ☆☆☆☆☆
The installation process of the Anyfar B4 Pro was straightforward on paper, requiring no cables and promising automated connection. However, in practice, I encountered significant difficulties. Despite following the instructions meticulously, the adapter failed to establish a reliable connection with my 2023 RAV4’s Factory-wired Android Auto system. Pairing via Bluetooth and WiFi was cumbersome, often resulting in failed connections or sporadic functionality.

Performance and Compatibility: ☆☆☆☆☆
The adapter’s promise of seamless Android Auto functionality without wires did not hold up in my testing. While it claims compatibility with Android 11+ phones and 2017+ cars equipped with OEM wired Android Auto, I experienced persistent issues with playback freezing, delayed responses, and inconsistent performance. Most notably, I was unable to get Android Auto to display on my car’s screen despite multiple attempts and troubleshooting sessions.

Audio Quality and Connectivity: ☆☆☆☆☆
Audio quality, touted to be Hi-Fi with digital transmission, did not meet expectations either. The sound suffered from occasional interference and latency, detracting from the promised Hi-Fi experience. The 5G dual-core chip, while theoretically ensuring stability, did not prevent the frustrating lag and occasional freezing during use.

Ease of Use: ☆☆☆☆☆
For a device marketed as user-friendly, the Anyfar B4 Pro proved to be quite challenging to operate. The lack of clear troubleshooting resources and inconsistent performance made the setup and initial use frustrating. The automatic connection feature, which should simplify use, often required manual intervention to establish a reliable link between the adapter and my phone.

Conclusion
While the Anyfar B4 Pro Android Auto Wireless Adapter promises to convert wired Android Auto to wireless seamlessly, my experience with it was disappointing. As someone accustomed to working with technology, I found the setup overly complex, and the performance did not justify the effort. It failed to play Android Auto on my 2023 RAV4 as advertised, despite meeting the stated compatibility requirements. For potential buyers, particularly those considering this adapter for newer car models like mine, I would recommend thorough compatibility verification and perhaps exploring alternatives that offer more reliable performance and ease of use.

5.0 out of 5 stars It seems to work well for me

2021 Lexus. I plugged it into port, it fits fine. Setup was easy. It seems to work. Normal use case is Google maps running, audible running, and sometimes a text or call coming in. It seems to handle it all pretty well. This was exactly what I wanted. Take 15-20 seconds to connect after engine on .

Only hiccup seems to be if I leave engine on, leave car with phone, come back, it doesn't reconnect easily. I just pull the device and plug it back in and it works. Minor thing and might be car or phone fault. I'm very happy with this.

Android Auto wireless adapter. Works great out of the box. Connect very quickly when I start the car, I haven't noticed it to be any quicker compared to other adapters. Most of the waiting is done by the factory stereo boot-up. Instructions are easy to follow and the entire setup process is straightforward.

I love the Pro version because it's so small, about the size of a thumb drive, and it connects super quickly. I love the fact that I don't have to plug anything in now when I start the car and that my Google maps starts up and my music starts playing immediately

3.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistant Connection

Seems everyone has slightly different connection issues. My connection issues go as follows.

Connects fast. (Probably the fastest one I've tried), touch inputs were close enough for me to wired which was nice.
But half the time time it will not connect at all as if the the device wasn't close enough to my phone ( My phone sits1 Foot away)
Required manually going into bluetooth settings to connect often, which often takes longer than just plugging in a wire.

Kind of bummed cause the first few days it was awesome. Getting a better more reliable bluetooth chip that auto connects more reliably. Easy buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reliable Wireless Android Auto that works ...

This wireless Android Auto Bluetooth adapter has made life much simpler in my 2020 Jeep Compass. Yes, my Compass Latitude came with the lower OEM radio model, you know the 7 inch screen version with no build-in Nav. I settled for that one since I managed to find one of the few 6-speed manual Jeep Compass out there (2020 was the last year for that; I've had this car a few years now). Anyhoo, the radio meets my regular need of having XM radio for local drives. However, for trips to unknown (or lesser known) areas, Navigation is a must. While the Compass radio allows for Android Auto to enable the Navigation (I use Google Maps), it requires a cable plugged into the phone to work. Not only is that very inconvenient, it also adds wear to my phone's usb-c port. I minimize phone usb port wear by doing wireless charging. So, why not wireless Android Auto? In comes this adapter. I connected it via a USB extension cable to be able to tuck it out of the way (it is not necessary to use an extension cable but a preference for me). This adapter is easy to setup; I only needed to consult the user's manual to discover the device's name for Bluetooth connection; once that is set up, the phone remembers it.

Once set up, the device will automatically connect to your phone if it is within range. Depending on your car's radio, it may always default to Android Auto or to the last used Audio source. You may need to experiment with your car's radio to see how it prioritizes the Audio source upon startup, if needed.

In summary, if you are looking to have a wireless Android Auto adapter at a reasonable price, this ANYFAR device will not disappoint. It connects reliably and holds the connection. Recommended A++++++
