I have a Ram 1500 pulling a 28’ trailer that I wanted to have a backup view for both the truck and the trailer on a wireless system. The Amtifo A7 offered the options of a single channel or dual channel viewing with the option of split or single viewing.
The truck camera operates off the backup lights, with the trailer camera powered by the trailer running lights. These power hookup arrangements provided me with the viewing options I required.
The installation was relatively simple, the trailer camera mount required a small modification and the license plate camera was very simple to install. The monitor supplied dash mounting works perfectly, very solid with no vibration.
This combined system allows me a safe trailer hookup plus trailer backing and the option of a trailer rear viewing which allows the ability to check on the trailer bumper mounted bikes.
The quality of the pictures is very good with lots of options for brightness and contrast as well as guidelines on or off. Switching between views requires only a quick push of the appropriate button.
I am very pleased with the results and would recommend this system for anyone trailering. I am considering adding a camera to the front of the truck to help deal with some of those tight parking maneuvers required in Provincial/State park’s. I am hoping this will work with a manually switched power source, providing both truck frontal and trailer backing views.
Please see attached pics taken with mostly direct sunlight on the windshield.
Also I’d like to mention the Amtifo representative was very helpful and accommodating..

We have been RVing for over 40 years and have owned several tag-along trailers. During the past 10 years of retirement, we "graduated" to towing fifth wheels south for the winter. My wife and I have got pretty good at backing into campsites using hand signals and hands-free cell phones but at times it can be at time pretty tricky. For years I have longed for a back-uo camera system (like the expensive rigs have) but had trouble justifying the high price and tricky wiring installation. Recently, I did some internet research, read a lot of reviews on Amazon and eventually settled on the AMTIFO Model A7. It was a very good value and highly recommended. I cannot begin to say how happy I am with this product! First of all, it was packaged nicely AND arrived 7 days earlier than promised! The included instructions were good and the recommended YouTube videos were extremely helpful (if pictures are worth 1000 words, video is worth 10,000). The package contained everything I needed and more - 2 monitor mounting systems, a monitor sunshade, testing accessories, stainless mounting screws, etc. I love the large 7" monitor and the back-uo camera appears very sturdy (made of steel, not plastic). See pictures: As suggested, I did a bench test test using a 12 volt power supply. Even with the plastic protection over both the camera and monitor, the picture came up quickly and looked great - even the night vision. Next, I put the monitor in my truck, hooked to a 12 volt power source in the truck while leaving the back-uo camera hooked up to the external power source in my basement workshop. I had also taken the plastic protectors off both the camera and the monitor. The picture quality went from good to phenomenal! Furthermore, I backed down my 150 foot long driveway and the image stayed perfect. Using cell phones, my wife and I also confirmed that there was virtually no signal lag time even at that distance. The camera is going on the fifth wheel shortly (installation looks simple) and we are soon headed to Arizona. Can't wait to try it on the road!

We bought this product because my mother had purchased it for her camper and I was impressed with it. It was easy to install, connect, and set up on my Rockwood Roo. The adapters that we needed to connect to the pre-wire camera port on the back of the camper were all there and fit perfectly.
The display is a nice size. I was surprised at how well the suction cup mount held it to the windshield. I didn’t want holes in my dash for the optional mounting bracket.
The display easily connected to the camera even though it was in the front of my vehicle and the camera was on the back of the camper. I also like the existing system is expandable and additional cameras can be added to it. It is an excellent price for a quality product.
The only challenge I ran into was that one of the little plastic washers that go on the camera to tighten it to the bracket split; however the kit had extras to use.
One thing to note that I had to figure out on my trailer is that the camera will only turn on and have power when the trailer marker lights are on. This has nothing to do with the camera system, but is the way Rockwood wired my particular trailer. If you find that your camera isn’t getting power, try hooking it up to the tow vehicle and turning on your marker lights.
