It's a monster CPU. Needs the cooling they recommend. Tad overkill for browsing the internet unless you use Chrome. But overkill is underrated!

But you get fabulous support. I had to RMA my original one (it wasn't actually broken, found out the motherboard is the cause, and Gigabyte is showing me the wrong way to provide Support). They were helpful, paid for shipping. Did everything amazingly.

I hope they pay their staff enough, but I'd love to see a tip jar or something for their support teams. I'd love to buy them a drink/coffee or just contribute to the company party fund.

I've been using this chip for awhile, and I really don't have any complaints. It took some time for Asus to get its EFI straightened out, but it is working well now. The processor itself has alwys worked well.

AM5 motherboards require a couple of tweaks to work properly, like setting up memory training, but that is easy enough to do, and really isn't a processor issue.

I only use two memory sticks, so I haven't had any issues with low memory speeds. 64GB @ 6000MHz is more than enough for my purposes.

This chip handles everything with aplomb. With good memory and a good NVME SSD, it is pretty well unbeatable.

Great chip! Recommended.

This cpu is a monster. Nothing seem to be out of it reach. Running pretty high in temperature, will go to 95 degree celsius under full load, wich is normal on this gen. Using it whit a 360mm AIO. My CPU boost up to 5,85GHz wich is very impressing for a stock cpu.

I know that in a few short years my "fast" system will eventually become a paper weight, but for right now, this is the best you can get short of the very newest intel chips. Before this I had a Ryzen 5700x, which was a solid processor, but it it's dog slow compared to this. 16 cores and 32 threads mean I can be copying files over the network, be installing dual scans on my hard drive for viruses, and playing games on my computer, all at the same time. Boot is twice as fast, and all my applications load fast and windows 11 is actually snappy and a breeze to work with. Not only that, but the advertised 4.6 ghz rating on the chip is misleading because if you are doing any kind of multithreaded application, the chip stays at around 5.2ghz. The main issue with this chip is the supposed heat range being high compared to other chips, but I've been gaming for a while and haven't hit the "optimal" temperature for the chip yet at 95 degrees centigrade. Having said that, I threw a darkrock 4 cooler on it, and it seems to be working just fine. I go with air coolers if I can, and having a GOOD cpu cooler is pretty much mandatory. Here. Let's put it this way: This computer will heat your room during winter. All in all I am very happy with the performance, and the price is reasonable.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Adaptei inicialmente um dissipador de calor da própria AMD e fique assustado com a temperatura que o CPU atingia. Além do ruido que fazia era incomportável trabalhar na sala com o ruído. Para resolver este problema de temperatura e ruido aconselho vivamente a colocação do NOCTUA NH-D15 SE4 pois foi o unico que experimentei que reduziu significativamente o ruido para valores aceitáveis mas sobretudo para temperaturas abaixo do que pretendia.
