Great gaming CPU
Using for 1440p gaming, personal media centre/server and general multitasking.Every game I’ve tried I’m getting over 100 fps avg mins at 1440p. With tweaking depending game and the settings in game I can hit/exceed my monitors max refresh of 144hz, with the exception of a few games.. The limiting factor for now being my GPU. Overall I am very satisfied coming from my previous ryzen 2600 build. This CPU let’s me fully utilize my graphics card and should serve me well for next GPU upgrade...If you can, pair this CPU with DRR5 6000 with a decent cas latency. DDR5 6000 CL30 is the sweet spot. Amazing, Buttery frames in all games at max settings, Fast, Multi monitor, multi window, multi processes and flawless.
The CPU runs hotter than normal as mentioned by AMD, Without fan optimization my temps were hitting 77+ sometimes gaming around 85+. However after adjusting the fan curve profile and adjusting positive/negative case pressure, even under extreme loads, usually holds around 85 (-) but for the most part, now sits at around 65 (+-) during all games where as before, would sometimes hover around 88 under heavy loads and now is 40 (+-) idle. Pure Fan cooling here, and my buddies use basic AIO's as to which theirs hold around 61 (+-) under load and 45 (+-) idle. Absolute power house of a CPU, Woulda gone for the 7800x3D but honestly didnt need that much extra power.

Processeur bon rapport qualité prix
Reviewed in France on July 8, 2024Verified Purchase
