THIS IS A REAL **HONEST** REVIEW! This is not a good camera. Not 60 fps. Not 4K.
First - everyone that put a 5 star review and got their free stuff SELECT THIS AS A USEFUL REVIEW. At least let other people see an honest review of this product.Ok... for everyone else, there are a lot of 5 star reviews on here and I'm sure the company is getting a lot of sales from those reviews. The reason there are so many 5 star reviews is because every person who ordered this camera received an insert with their new product that seems to say that if you give them a 5 star review you will get some FREE accessories for the camera - spare batteries, microSD card, mounting harnesses, etc. See the attached photo.I considered putting in a 1 star review to try to counteract them, but that wouldn't be an honest review, and if any product I have ever bought off Amazon needed an actual honest review it's this one. Here are the *REAL* pros and cons of this camera.Pros:1) It's very cheap within this product range. It's like 1/4 the price of a GoPro.2) It comes with a huge range of mounting accessories, a remote control, and a waterproof case, which other cameras charge a lot of money for.Cons:1) It's a bad camera.Compared to say a Galaxy S1 from 10 years ago, this camera is much, *much* worse. It is grainy, and it is definitely not 12MP. Let me correct that - the stored image may in fact be 12MP, but it must be using such a small (and poor quality) receptor that it might as well be 2MP to 4MP. Every image is extremely grainy and has poor sharpness and color accuracy.2) It's a bad camera (part 2)It does not do well in low light. Photos are VERY grainy and look much lower resolution than claimed. I cannot stress this enough. If you owned (or still own) a digital camera from the 1990s it will take better pictures than this.3) It is a bad video cameraThe recorded video is grainy and jerky. Movement is not smooth. It definitely does not record in 60 fps - despite what is claimed. It may be saving 60 frames to the SD card, but if you have a modern cell phone you can compare what actual 60 fps video looks like against what this camera produces. Is it frame-doubling? Making extra copies of the exact same image - I don't know. What I do know is this is not smooth 60fps video.4) It is a bad video camera (part 2)It does NOT capture video in 4k. It also does not seem to really capture video in 1080p. Based on the sample videos I recorded with the device it appears to only capture at a maximum of 720p no matter what setting. Again, it may be storing at higher resolutions on the SD card, but what is being recorded is much lower res than that. It may in fact be using software to upsample from a poor recorded image quality.5) It's a bad video camera and a bad camera (part 3)I want to make sure that people reading this don't think that I am some kind of photography snob who uses $3000 SLR cameras with a dozen thousand dollar lenses, and compares photo quality looking for the smallest flaw. I am saying that I am a normal person who usually takes photos and video on his cell phone, and have done so for a decade, This camera would not be good if it was on a cell phone from 10 years ago.6) It is not really a WiFi device. The camera can be set to "WiFi", but it sets itself as a WiFi hotspot. You can NOT connect to your WiFi so you can monitor it remotely, or so you can use it as a media device to transfer files. The camera sets itself as a hotspot and you MUST connect to it. Once connected you can transfer files ONLY to the device you have connected to the camera. You can only use it as a camera if you are close enough to connect to it as a WiFi hotspot.7) Lag on WiFi monitoringStupidly, comically, high lag when connected to the camera. You can move the camera while it is literally inches away from your cell phone and watch as it takes a solid 2 seconds for the movement to appear on your screen. That may not sound like much, but trust me, if you are attempting to photograph or film something it is impossible to know what you are actually looking at because the delay is so long.8) The instructions are terribleSeriously. If you don't go and learn how to use this device by searching online you will have no idea. Nothing in the included instructions will tell you how to use most of the features. It is tough to make a recommendation here. This is not a good camera. If you are just concerned you might drop your cell phone and lose it then I recommend buying an older cell phone and using it as a camera. If you need something to use under water, or you need to mount the camera on your body, your car, or your bike... well... I'm not sure... as far as I can find this might the best product in its price range.

Although this one from Akaso is not a known name, the picture and video quality in my opinion is extremely good and for the price, it’s can’t really be beat. Inside the package is the camera itself, a waterproof case, two batteries, a variety of different accessories (mounts, arms, stands), a USB charging cable + Brick, and instructions.

The camera is extremely compact and tiny at only a little more than two inches wide and about an inch and a half and weighs in at about 2 ounces. Operating the camera is pretty easy as there are only a few physical buttons that are all very intuitive. The menu is easy to navigate and not cluttered. Being able to preview your footage on the screen is extremely helpful, and an excellent feature. You can also use the built-in WiFi feature (after downloading the accompanying app) to remotely start/stop/view the recording, or use the provided remote.

The video quality on this camera is excellent and blows away even the video that I take on my iPhone 6. I am actually quite surprised that a camera this small can record such good video. It can record 4K at 25FPS, 2K at 30FPS, 1080P at 60FPS, and 720P at 120FPS.. It records audio quite well too and there was minimal wind or rustle noise during my test. Still pictures are also amazing. The battery life is average, at about an hour or so of recording at 4K so make sure you fully charge up both batteries before heading out.

Overall, this is a great sports camera that is very affordable but has impressive features and quality.

Highly recommended, 5/5 stars.

So far this camera lives up to expectations. I have never owned a GoPro so it is hard to judge in comparison however for the price difference this camera delivers what it advertises. The quality of the video in daylight is excellent. Testing it a night time the video was not as sharp as I had hoped for but that is to be expected. Again not sure how this stacks up compared to the higher end sports cameras.

The number of accessories that it comes with is nice. Particularly an extra battery and the remote control feature is nice. The instructions say that holding the red button turns the camera off but so far I have not had success with this. That is a small issue though that overall doesn't bother me. It would be nice if the camera came with some smaller 3M mounts for flat and curved surfaces, but you can get a whole bunch of those for pretty cheap through amazon.

Build quality of the camera has so far met expectations. Haven't put it through the ringer yet but from what I can tell it seems pretty solid. The built in wifi feature to live stream to your phone screen also works as advertised and is a nice feature so you can see what it see's to make sure you are getting the shots you want .

Ordered it with a 64Gb MiniSD card and it shows that I can take 9999 pictures and over 6 hours of 1080p video.

Overall I'm pleased with the performance of this camera for the price point. For someone starting into the action camera scene this fits the bill and based on comparisons to a GoPro check mosts of the boxes for an amateur and for a quarter of the price you can't complain!

The Camera is nice and works well. All the extras attachments are great, but will require you to figure out how they fit together, no indications.
The waterproof case fits tightly and even comes with a replacement door if needed to change it.
The only down side is the lack of instructions. I still have to figure out how to connect it to wifi (althought not really the reason I bought this). For the setup menu it is the same, not very clear. If you are looking how to enter and use the setup, know that all buttons on the camera serve a purpose (power button included) took me a while to figure out. Also at the times the buttons usage is not very consistent from menu to menu.
Overall, for the price a great camera, but the vendor could have spent an extra hour of work to produce an instruction manual (even if it's available only online)
Edit: After a week of usage, here is an update of my experience.
First of all, everytime you change batteries, the date and time is lost so all your videos and photos have wrong timestamps. Since batteries barely last 2 hours, this is something you will have to do often. Given the complexity of the system menu, it is really a pain ! It's a tiny miss that is really annoying, it would really not be that hard to store locally new date on the inner flash memory. I haven't checked, but I suppose all other settings get reset as well with battery change. If it is the case, this is a huge defect!
Second: the camera is meant to go under water with its case, and this works well...but... They haven't made the attachment screws rust proof, including the one for the underwater yellow handle that floats. Again, another half baked development of the product.
Third, the water proof case is solid and works well, but has several issues: you have to press super hard on the side buttons for them to have any effects (cummulated with the fact that battery change resets everything, make sure you do all your settings before putting the camera back in the case). The camera can get hot if used for a long time inside the case in hot environment, it's really meant to be used underwater so it cools down. Finally the metal parts of the case (used to articulate the black locking mechanism) rust as well with only three dives in salt water !
Still cheaper than a go pro, so it's ok, but if you want a long lasting and pleasant product to use, you should consider something else.
