My main goal of getting this "Candy bar" cell phone is for a few reasons, the Biggest reason no internet access at all! this phone can call and text and that's all, minus of course the FM radio that doesn't require headphones as an antenna, and the "Torch" light is pretty cool as well, very bright. and personally i prefer the candy bar style of cellphones for two reasons, one is its skinnier than a flip phone, i hate how thick flip phones are when they are folded, and two less moving parts "the hinge" in flip phones have always made me wonder how long they will last. oooh and a good part of this cell is that the phone is durable so no phone case to purchase as well, it feels like it has one "built in" almost, with how durable it feels.
Some of the CONS are: #1. texting is categorized into folders, Inbox, Sent, Ect. can be a little confusing if you Text a lot of people and want to keep track of the previous messages. #2. is the clicking sound of the physical buttons, its not too too loud but there is clicking if your texting, down side of analog physical keyboard typing i suppose lol. and lastly #3. you cant move the 9 apps at all or remove them, they are as follows form top left to right and down, Contacts, Call Logs, Message, Multimedia, Profiles, Camera, Applications, My Files, Settings. so it does have a 2mp camera on the back "terrible" and you have the option of a adding a memory card to add "music, photos, files ect." but honestly who does that. the battery will last you multiple days on one charge. oh and one last detail there are only 3 ring tones to choose from the first one is not bad but the other two are very loud, you could add your own if you had a nano memory card though.
If your main goal is to have ZERO internet access on your device, then this is your dumb phone.
personally this has been the best simple phone I've used so far cause there is absolutely no way to use it other than what it is designed for which is calling and texting only!
