From the time I opened the box this lens has been nothing but a delight. Solid, with overall build quality of a superior standard. Focus and aperture ring are both smooth and easy, but not to loose in turning. When I attached this lens to my Fujifilm X E2 and spent a day with it, I was surprised, very pleasantly by the sharpness of the shots I took, and the depth and richness of the colour, were
captivating. The X E2 is known for its image quality, however, this lovely little "budget" lens, pushed the envelope a bit further, in my view.

The 7artisans 35mm f1.8 is your ideal ideal all-around lens for shooting stunning images both day and night. With a 35mm focal length and 43 degree angle of view. Its fast f1.4 circular aperture delivers beautifully soft defocused backgrounds, perfect for portraits, food, products, insects and so on. It also delivers superb detail even when lighting is less than optimal, which means you can skip the flash in many low-light situations.
