I am pleased with the functionality and sound quality of this recorder. It is somewhat challenging to understand the setup and controls at first glance, primarily because it is set to the German language and might require a change to the language of your choice. Otherwise, it provides all basic functions for this type of device and does so with better sound quality than I expected. All functions work. It arrives with a USB-C cord and a pair of earphones. It also has a jack for a microphone. It is quite compact, lightweight and well manufactured.

I had an issue (my fault) and I was able to get a fast solution. The seller was very quick to respond and was very patient. They were able to quickly realize I was using the wrong app.

Spoiler alert: use Windows Media player to play the WAV files, not some dumpy app your IT department loaded on your computer!

I was not at all expecting much from this pen, but it's actually very good! As a pen, it writes nicely and comes with refills so unless you write like crazy, you should be set for a while.

As a recorder, it's weirdly good. You wouldn't expect to get much audio out of it, especially at a distance, but it picks up really well. I tested line-of sight, stuffed in some hidden nooks, back turned away from it, and each time I could hear my voice fine. Distances ranged from 7-15 feet.

It's got several features that are controlled by editing a text file on the SD card and if you format the card, the pen will restore the default config file. Pretty nice.

Overall, very happy with it, so long as the battery keeps up.

It worked but the instructions are almost non existent. I will say that the pen itself feels and looks very “high end”, the only way you would know what it is not a regular pen is the tiny LED indicator.
