I bought a roll but it must be very old because it isn't usable. The sticky surface adheres to the tape. The black tape separates from the glue so that you are left with a strip without glue and the glue stays behind on the next layer. I regret buying this product. I will only purchase tape from a local retailer because I believe this product has expired or was stored wrong. I gave it one star as an ALERT! ZERO stars for this product.

I'm finding that the majority of duct tape (whether it says 'extra strength' or not) is just okay.
They all do a fine job of sticking to themselves, but few handle cold and damp conditions for any prolonged period.
Same for this 3M product. It's okay but works best in warm and dry environment.
I won't buy any of them unless they on at a good sale price. This was just okay.
