I would highly recommend to stay away from the idea of an integrated battery pack & solar panel. These cheap battery banks get way too hot sitting in the sun trying to collect the sun and are unable to properly store it. You do not want to keep your batteries in the direct sun, which means this is a design flaw. Buy a seperate battery bank & use a seperate solar panel to connect it to, keeping your battery banks away from the sun. If you live in an off grid home, you know that keeping your solar batteries cool during the summer is essential.

These ones are cheap garbage, I'd stay away from the bad quality battery banks here on Amazon. Would not recommend getting!

When I first received this power bank, I was impressed by its sturdiness. It has a good weight and the materials seem top notch. The solar charging worked very well, too. We had to use it almost immediately because of a major power outage due to another storm. It charged my and my husband's cellphones perfectly and my iPad, too. We were impressed.

Four months down the road, it’s another story. The green light remains turned off, which means the solar charging option is now defective and the power bank is no longer charging. The good thing at least is that it doesn’t seem to be losing the charge it already has (the same blue lights remain on).

I’ve contacted Amazon, who couldn’t really do anything because the return window had closed, but they were kind enough to contact the Seller for me and request their assistance. The Amazon Agent told me that the Seller will email me within the next 48 hours to resolve this matter. That’s great news! Fingers crossed!
