Bought this for Munich, Germany trip. Data worked in Munich then didn't for neighbouring cities. Then it was reset and it worked for neighboring cities but not Munich. My sister bought the same product and had less of an issue. Followed all instructions and contacted support for help. They were very responsive and tried to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the data connection just seemed inconsistent across different cities for me. Eventually, the amount was refunded and they apologized for the experience. So good customer service and my experience may have just been an exception.

I am using 10G sim on Moto G in italy for 3 weeks. Intially phone would not connect autoamaticaly . I connected support via email Tre was "persistant" in helping solve my lack of data connection. I had to reset my wireless settings and manually set APN setting for user and network to "internet". I also manually set carrier to vodafone as the other providers either dropped or had weak 4G signals. After doing this I have had continous data in Naples, Sorrento,Capri ,Positano,Matera and rural areas of southern italy. I am using phone for driving with google maps and can hotspot with up to 5 other devices . Also can watch netflix movies so data stream is good. Intially was very frustrated and thought this card was terrible but technical support was excellent as the same support person handled my connection problem and suggested various settings that finally worked . Connections are fast and have not dropped . I will purchase data card again in the future

It worked well the first week in France. It didn't work after driving to Italy. I contacted support who promptly sent me a couple possible fixes. Got it working again with the help of a more tech-savvy friend. It didn't' last long. I was on my own for the last two weeks of my four-month trip. Tech support was good with follow ups but I couldn't be bothered with the frustration. I just used the wifi where I was staying and in shopping centres etc. The last week I spent in Germany - it was dead. Ditto transiting through France again on my way home. Disappointing.

It arrived with 5GB stickers all over it which concerned me because it was supposed to be 10GB. It took about 4 hours before it started working. Worked great for the first 5GB in Dublin. Then it seemed to throttle the data. It was slower, and at alot of times wouldn't work at all. I don't know if it was the card after the first 5GB or because we traveled to Northern Ireland and the coverage wasn't there anymore. However, after a day or so we suddenly had 5G again and it worked great again, so I don't know. I would buy again, however.

I used this SIM card for a week long work trip to Germany and Poland. The card overall worked very well, it took maybe 2 minutes upon landing in Europe to activate. Data Transfer rate and overall coverage in Rhein-Main and Warsaw was very good. The only reason for a 3-star rating for ease of use was that on second day in Germany the connection was lost and after some communication with Amazon helpdesk I figured out that when I used the settings for France it worked again. Cellhire support contacted me and it seems related to phone type and APN combination. After that one-time adjustment it worked again without any issue in Poland and Germany. Definitely can recommend the SIM for any travelers to covered countries

Installed this SIM card while in transit in Frankfurt airport and it did not work. Decided not to worry about it until we arrived at our destination Italy. Worked when I turned on the phone in Venice. Important to remember to activate “cellular data roaming” as many people turn that off before departing North America to avoid outrageous roaming fees.

Excellent signal strength. Stronger signal than my spouse’s Canadian SIM. Excellent for using GoogleMaps to negotiate the streets of Venice, Florence and Positano. Also worked great on our drive to a tiny village winery in Volpaia, Tuscany. Highly recommended.

At least mine didn’t. Don’t waste your money. After struggling with it for a day I asked for a recommendation from reception at my hotel. They gave me a SIM card. It had phone and text not just data. It was for the UK and Canada only. Insert card, takes you to a site where you activate and choose account. Cheaper, better, more quickly.

Trip was in July 2023. I have an international phone I use with the sole purpose of being a WiFi hotspot for my regular, US network phone. Chip was in a Samsung Galaxy A50.

Note: Chips are good for one year from date on the package. My chip had about 8 months of shelf life remaining when I got it. Not a concern for me, but don't buy one 11 months out from a trip. Wait until you are at 6 or fewer months from your trip. Also, the chip is good for 30 days once connected to a network. Do not connect until you are overseas and ready to use*.

I bought this. I put the chip into my international phone on a layover in Zurich on my way to Italy. Phone started up and connected. What more could I ask for? Worked perfectly. I turned on mobile hotspot and used my regular phone for two weeks in Italy, and again on my return layover in Zurich.

I was overseas for some training. I connected my laptop on a few days, and some other people with no cell service in the classroom also connected and got work done via web based programs (virtual desktops and 365 products).

I would definitely buy again. Highly reliable. Worked without any issues.

*I took screen shots of the troubleshooting tips from the website before I left on my trip, but I never needed them. Again, everything worked perfectly.
