Homegrown brand UNIX has launched two new affordable smartwatches in India, priced under Rs 3,000. The all-new Storm and Ember smartwatches offer an AMOLED display, Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, an IP67 water and dust-resistant rating, Hindi language support, and much more. UNIX Storm, Ember price in India, availability
The UNIX Storm smartwatch comes for Rs 2,799, while the Ember smartwatch is available for Rs 2,999. They can be available through UNIX’s official site, e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon, and several retail outlets nationwide. Both UNIX smartwatches offer a 365-day warranty.

The all-new UNIX Storm smartwatch flaunts a 1.43-inch display, while the UNIX Ember boasts a bigger 1.96-inch display. Both newly launched smartwatches feature an AMOLED display, 650 nits of peak brightness, and several watch faces for customisation.
The Storm and Ember offer Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and Bluetooth calling features with a built-in speaker and microphone. They also offer support for voice assistant, Hindi language, and more. The smartwatches can be paired to iOS and Android devices through the Unix Fitz App.
These UNIX smartwatches offer continuous heart rate monitoring, blood Oxygen saturation (SpO2), sleep tracking, calorie counting, and more. Additionally, they also feature more than 120 sports modes for users to keep their vital metrics in check.
As far as the batteries are concerned, the Storm and Ember smartwatches feature 240mAh and 270mAh batteries, respectively, and offer up to 5 days and 6 days of battery life on a single charge along with quick charging capability.
Furthermore, according to the company, these new smartwatches are IP67 water and dust-resistant-rated, hinting at no ingress of dust and water-resistant up to a depth of around 3 feet for up to half an hour.

It is worth noting that these UNIX alternatives – Storm and Ember – are priced at around Rs 3,000 and offer similar features. However, at this price point, there are other smartwatches available as well on several other platforms.
