The first week of October proved to be quite the tech fest with multiple global and Indian launches. Google brought an update to its flagship phone lineup while Apple responded to iPhone 15 consumers and their issues. Samsung also brought back its fan-favourite series with three new models. OnePlus has been teasing its first foldable and Vivo launched its range of portrait experts in the form of V29 Series.

Google Pixel 8 launch

Google launched the Pixel 8 series in international markets including India on October 4th alongside Google Pixel Watch 2. The new series comes with a host of new AI features and an updated Tensor G3 chipset. The Google Pixel 8 starts at Rs 75,999 in India and the Pixel 8 Pro at Rs 1,06,999. Both the devices have already been up for pre-orders through Flipkart in the country.

Apple releases iOS 17.0.3 update to fix iPhone 15 Pro overheating issue

Apple promised a software fix for the iPhone 15 Pro series that would solve the overheating issues with the smartphones earlier this week. It promptly released iOS 17.0.3 yesterday which addresses bugs and issues because of which the phones were “running warmer than expected.” This should come as a relief to consumers who spent upwards of Rs 1,34,900 on the new Pro models.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE/FE+, and Galaxy Buds FE launched in India

Samsung brought back its FE series of products with a new product range addition this time around. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE made its way to India at a price tag of Rs. 59,999 while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 FE+ start at Rs 36,999 and Rs 46,999, respectively. We also got new budget Galaxy Buds in the form of Samsung Galaxy Buds FE at a price tag of Rs 9,999.

OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 are the same device

OnePlus has started teasing the OnePlus Open as the launch of the brand’s first foldable phone draws near. It was first spotted in the hands of Indian actress Anushka Sharma and then shortly after, revealed in a video by Unbox Therapy. The brand also went on to confirm that the new phone has been jointly developed with its parent company OPPO which will release it as the OPPO Find N3 Fold in the Chinese market.

Vivo V29, V29 Pro launched in India

Vivo launched the new Vivo V29 series in India this week. Both the devices are quite similar in design and specifications but the Pro model comes with a higher performance chipset and a telephoto camera. Vivo also focused on the design of these models by introducing striking colour options and bringing back curved glass displays. The Vivo V29 starts at Rs 32,999 in the country and the Vivo V29 Pro starts at Rs 39,999.
