Following the leaks about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Watch Ultra, a new report now sheds light on the features and colour options of the upcoming earbuds – Galaxy Buds 3 and Gakaxy Buds 3 Pro. The leak suggests an upgraded IP rating and something called ‘Blade Lights’. As per the report, the earbuds will feature active noise cancellation (ANC), an IP57 rating, long battery life and much more. Here are the leaked details of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

  • According to a report by Android Headlines, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 might offer up to 6 hours of battery life and up to 5 hours with ANC on. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will likely have up to 7 hours of battery life and 6 hours with ANC on.
  • To recall, the Galaxy Buds 2 offers up to 7.5 hours of battery life and 5 hours of battery with ANC off, while the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro packs up to 5 hours of playback with ANC on and up to 8 hours without the ANC.
  • Both the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will feature ANC and Adaptive EQ, but the Pro variant will pack Ambient Sound and Adaptive ANC. They are said to offer Bluetooth v5.4 connectivity, 360 Audio (Spatial Audio), SmartThings Find and more.

It is worth noting that the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are equipped with two-way drivers – one woofer and one tweeter for enhanced audio output.
  • The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are equipped with an IP57 rating for protection from both dust and water exposure. This would be an upgrade over the IPX2 rating and IPX7 rating seen on the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
  • Furthermore, the Pro variant might feature ‘Blade Lights,’ which isn’t clear what that might be, but it looks like it will be related to the design part of the upcoming earbuds. Could be LEDs, but that’s just speculation. So far, only these details of the upcoming earbuds have surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro colour options, other details

As per the report, the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro might be unveiled in Silver and White colour options. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 2 also included Graphite, White, Onyx, Olive and Lavender colours, while the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro was unveiled in Graphite, White and Bora Purple colours.

The South Korean tech giant has not updated its Galaxy Buds since 2022. The company released the Galaxy Buds FE in 2023, and the Galaxy Buds 2 was launched in 2021, while the Pro variant was announced in 2022. Therefore, Samsung users are now anticipating an upgrade to the Galaxy Buds lineup.

We can expect it to launch at the upcoming Unpacked Galaxy 2024, where the company will also unveil new foldable and flip smartphones, alongside new smartwatches, earbuds, tablets, Galaxy Ring and much more. Samsung has yet to reveal the exact launch date of these upcoming products.
