Realme is gearing up to launch Realme GT 6 and the Realme 13 Pro series. The former is scheduled to launch in India too alongside its global debut. We have been getting their details in dribs and drabs. And today, we have the official camera and display specifications of the Realme GT 6 and the tipped periscope camera specs for the Realme 13 Pro+. Let’s have a look:
Realme GT 6 camera, display specifications
Camera: Realme has disclosed through its dedicated Flipkart microsite that Realme GT 6 will sport a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor as the primary camera. This will be 1/1.4-inch in size and feature OIS support for stable and better-quality photos and videos. Realme calls this its “most powerful imaging system ever”.
The main camera is accompanied by 2 more sensors, one of which is a 2x zoom telephoto camera. You also get Super Nightscape Mode for low light photography and 4K Dolby Vision video recording.
On the software side, there will be features like AI Smart Removal which is similar to Magic Eraser on Pixels.
Display: The Flipkart page reveals the GT 6 will be coming with a Pro XDR display. This screen technology enhances the brightness and contrast of the images. It does this by amping up the display nits dynamically and locally.
Realme is also bringing Hypertone Image Engine for more clear and detailed images with fewer artefacts.
Per tipster DigitalChatStation (DCS), the Realme GT 6 will have a 6,000 nits brightness 8T LTPO display from BOE. This will feature eye protection, hardware-level low blue-light filter, 2,160Hz PWM dimming, and 3Pulse/1Pulse-like DC dimming. He claims this display system will be better than the ones on upcoming phones like Redmi K70 Ultra, OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, and iQOO Neo 9S Pro+.
Besides these, we also know the phone will come equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, tempered dual VC cooling system, a 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 of storage, and AI-aided software with features like AI Smart Loop.
Realme 13 Pro+ periscope camera (tipped)
DCS suggests the Realme 13 Pro+ will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom (periscope telephoto lens). The Realme 12 Pro+ also had this much zoom ability but was powered by an Omnivision OV64B sensor.
The Realme 13 Pro model could also get this sensor and lens combination although the Realme 12 Pro was specced lower than the Pro+ model.
