New button to shut down iPhone on iOS 18
- Turning off an iPhone isn't the easiest and can get very confusing if you don't know the correct steps. What you need to do right now is press and hold the side button and either of the volume buttons for the 'Power Off' slider to appear on the screen. Another way is to go to Settings > General > Shut Down, then drag the slider.
- iOS 18 offers a quick and easy way to shut down your iPhone and it can be found in the new Control Center.
- First, you need to open the Control Center by swiping down the screen from the top-right corner of your iPhone. You'll see a new power icon on the top right corner of the Control Center. Tap on it and the Power Off slider will appear. You can easily shut down your iPhone from this shortcut.
