HMD View specifications, design leaked

  • HMD View will feature a FHD+ OLED display, according to the leak shared by @smashx_60 on X. The display size hasn’t been revealed.
  • It will feature a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The new HMD phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the new Moto G85, which is launching in India on July 10th.
  • The HMD View smartphone is also tipped to come with 8GB of RAM and pack a 4,700mAh battery.
  • It will be available in three colour options: Meteor Black, Ice, and Velvet.

The image above shows the HMD View in Ice and Velvet colours. This also shows the back design of the phone revealing a dual-camera setup placed vertically on the top-left corner. The HMD View has rounded corners with the power button and volume keys on the right side. It looks like the power button will double as a fingerprint sensor based on its design. The antenna bands are also visible on both sides of the phone.

Overall, the HMD View looks similar to the HMD Vibe smartphone that launched in the US in April. It’s also not part of the Lumia rebrand that we’ve been seeing for the HMD Skyline and Skyline G2.

HMD has been teasing a new smartphone launch in India. It was revealed that the HMD Arrow will launch in India soon but the brand posted an update saying that this name cannot be used due to legal reasons. HMD will announce the revised name soon.
