The CMF Phone 1 India launch is scheduled for July 8th at 2:30 PM. The CMF Phone 1 will be available in four colours: black, orange, light green, and blue. The blue and orange casings have a vegan leather design, whereas the black and light green cases have a subtle texture. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart and CMF’s official website.
CMF Phone 1 price in India (expected)
The rumoured price of the CMF Phone 1 is Rs 15,999 for the 6GB/128GB base model and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB/128GB device, with introductory incentives. Without any incentives, it might start at Rs 19,999.

- Display: The CMF Phone 1 will flaunt a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel with support for a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness.
- Processor: Powering the device will be a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC paired with Mali-G615 GPU.
- RAM/Storage: It will ship with 8GB RAM with 2GB virtual RAM and 128GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
- Battery/Charging: Under the hood, it will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
- Rear camera: the device will feature a dual camera setup at the back: a 50MP primary camera and a depth sensor.
- Front camera: For selfies and video calls, it will house a 16MP snapper at the front.
- OS: The CMF Phone 1 will run on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6.0 with ChatGPT support out of the box. The company promises two years of OS upgrades and three years of security patches for the CMF Phone 1.

CMF, like its parent brand, is attempting to deliver something unique and unusual with its debut phone. The CMF Phone 1 has a customisable back design that supports a variety of attachments. You can swap out the back panel and even attach accessories to it. Moreover, the device has a spinning wheel in the bottom left corner that allows you to attach accessories such as a lanyard or a stand.
The rear panel houses an oval camera island at the top-left corner featuring two sensors and a flash. On the other hand, the front design of the CMF Phone 1 features a punch-hole display with thin bezels on all sides.

If the device indeed launches in India under the Rs 20,000 price range, the CMF Phone 1 will compete against the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, POCO X6, and Realme Narzo 70 Pro available in the same segment.

However, the CMF Phone 1 offers similar specifications in every other aspect to its competitors and other smartphones available in the same price range.
