ONDA has released a new affordable Mini-ITX AM5 motherboard, the B650PLUS-ITX-W, which retails for just $85 US.

ONDA has previously released some nice budget-focused motherboards in the past featuring the AMD AM5 and Intel LGA 1700 sockets. These motherboards usually retail under the $100 US price point and make for a fantastic option for budget PC builds. Now, ONDA is releasing a new Mini-ITX option based around the AM5 socket which features a great design.
The ONDA B650PLUS-ITX-W motherboard features the AM5 socket and is powered by a single 8-pin connector. It comes with a 9-phase digital power delivery solution which is enough for a range of AMD Ryzen 7000/8000 CPUs. The motherboard should also be well-prepped for the upcoming Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" CPU options though users will have to wait a bit for a BIOS update. The board is listed to support overclocking and also supports up to 6000 MT/s DDR5 EXPO memory with its dual DDR5 DIMM slots which can support up to 96 GB capacities.
As for expansion options, ONDA's B650-PLUS-ITX-W motherboard features a single PCIe 4.0 x16, two Gen4 x4 M.2 slots (one underneath a dedicated SSD heatsink), and three SATA III ports. ONDA has gone with a full white PCB with black markings on the front and there are two silver heatsinks, one for the M.2 slot and one over the I/O which acts as a VRM plate. The motherboard is standard for a Mini-ITX design with a 170x170mm layout.
In terms of I/O, the ONDA B650PLUS-ITX-W AM5 motherboard features 2.5 GbE LAN, WIFI6 with Bluetooth v5.2, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, USB 3.2 Type-C in addition to a total of 5 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports. There are also 2 ARGB LED connectors and you even get 1-click BIOS flashback and CMOS clear buttons on the IO panel. The motherboard has a retail price of 619 RMB which converts to $85 US. This makes the motherboard an amazing price solution for budget PC builders but the only downside is that it will only be available in Asian markets.
