STICKER CONVERTER TOOL

After releasing a feature to allow users to control input and output devices designed at offering users a better personalized experience, WhatsApp is actively working on additional features to enhance the overall user interaction and communication within the platform. In the past few weeks, WhatsApp has released some new updates on the Microsoft Store for their Windows app, and we discovered that WhatsApp has finally introduced a feature to allow users creating stickers!

As you can see in this screenshot, a new option is available within the sticker panel and it allows users to convert images to stickers with ease. It also offers users basic editing tool such as the ability to crop the image before the conversation. It's worth noting that the feature to convert images into stickers was previously accessible to users through the WhatsApp Desktop app, specifically in its Electron version. This capability allowed users to create personalized stickers directly from their images, adding a creative touch to their conversations on the desktop platform. Now, WhatsApp is extending this convenient feature to the native Windows app, ensuring that users across different versions of the application can enjoy the same option.

In our opinion, the availability of the image-to-sticker conversion feature directly in the Windows app enhances the sticker creation process for users who primarily use WhatsApp on their desktop. This option integrates with their workflow, helping users save time and effort by creating stickers from images directly within the Windows app. This also eliminates the need to transfer images to a mobile device for creating a sticker, and we believe that the convenience of having this feature readily accessible in the Windows app contributes to a more elevated user experience.

The feature to provide users with a sticker creation converter tool is available to some users who install the latest WhatsApp for Windows update released on the Microsoft Store. If you don't see this update on the Microsoft Store, please note that it will be rolled out to more users over the coming days.
