I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. I use the "new" version of Dex mode daily because I prefer some apps opens as windowed mode while I launch them. It works out perfectly, Dex remembers the applications' window size and full-screen status when I close the app, and relaunching will place the application where it used to be.
That worked out well until OneUI 6.1 update. While Dex can still remember a window's location and size, it no longer remember the full-screen status. Which means all apps are forced to be opened at windowed mode.
Is it still possible to let Dex remember an app's full-screen status? Is there a setting? (It worked before but I forgot whether I modified any settings before OneUI 6.1.)
What I tried:
1. Dex developer mode (can only be accessed by launching Dex in "classic" mode).
2. Try find Dex labs - cannot find it in settings or bottom-left menu.
3. Went to Advanced settings -> Labs - no dex related settings
4. Advanced settings -> Labs -> Landscape view for portrait apps does not affect Dex
