Highlight of 2023!! 🛫 Travel has always been an important part of Komodo, so we could not think of a better way to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our talent department. We had the great pleasure of bringing our amazing roster of UK talent to the Maldives to the beautiful Ifuru Island Maldives. The week included sunset yoga, dolphin cruises, beach BBQs and of course sky diving! We are incredibly proud of this activation and the incredible results we achieved for Ifuru Island Maldives. We certainly don’t plan to stop here, so keep your eyes peeled for the next big moment! Many thanks to the entire Komodo team, Ifuru Island Maldives and Frog & Wolf PR for making this project happen.

What an incredible way to close 2023 ✨ It’s been 5 years since Komodo launched our Talent Division. To celebrate our incredible roster of content creators, we collaborated with the newly opened Ifuru Resort to take our UK roster on the trip of a lifetime to visit Ifuru Island Maldives. We set sail for a Dolphin cruise, snorkelled the reef, practised a yoga class at sunset, feasted on fresh fish BBQs, drank pina coladas and danced under the stars. Ifuru is the Maldives first official sky-diving resort. Whilst on the island, we met the incredible Fred Fugen Red Bull skydiver and witnessed him dive, flip and fly out of the sky. The legendary Nirmal ( Nimsdai) Purja then led a motivational talk about his quest to summit all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in seven months. It was simply unforgettable. I'm honestly so proud of the team and everything they have achieved. Especially Joe Ellyatt Rosie Luff Emily Louise Gray What a way to wrap up the year. Outstanding content, exceeding deliverables and soaring reach. Beyond grateful to the Komodo team, Frog & Wolf PR and Ifuru Island Maldives.

Last week we threw a Merry Mixer for our wonderful agency partners and it was an evening full of fun, festivity and frolicking! 🎄 Guests entered through a whimsical walk-way with positive Pinterest messaging, into a beautiful space with Pinterest baubles hanging from fairy light trees and branding sprinkled throughout. Over the evening, there were endless drinks, festive nibbles and surprise immersive performances. All brought to life by the talented Komodo 💥 The perfect way to celebrate an amazing partnership this year and we can't for what's to come in 2024 - Onwards and upwards! 📌 🎉

Today marks my THREE YEAR anniversary at Komodo 🎉 So grateful I have been part of such an incredible team and company for this long. We certainly have had some high highs and some low lows, but the rollercoaster is what makes things all that more special 🙏🏼 From starting as Marketing Manager, moving solely to Social Media Manager, to moving to our sister company Runway, so coming back to Komodo as a Content Manager, I can certainly say I have experienced it all in this role, and long may it continue. Looking forward to what the next 3 years is going to bring!

🌱 Wellness Wednesday 🌱 We started wellness wednesday walks back in lockdown and ever since, the concept has continued. Every Wednesday Komodo take a timeout to recharge our minds, from wellness walks to ted talks, painting, yoga flows, meditation and mindfulness - it's the perfect opportunity to take a well-deserved team break. When I suggested a lunchtime run it was met with little enthusiasm and I'll go as far as saying, it was probably one of the worst turnouts to wellness wednesday we have had. I didn't take it personally, I blamed the spitting rain and we pushed through with a small squad but nonetheless a solid team. It turned out to be one of my favourite Wellness Wednesdays to date as we joined Dami O. to run her first-ever 5 km 🎉 Shout out to Beth Czajewski for running in her VEJAs. Shin splints massage might have to be next week's wellness Wednesday suggestion .... Headspace ✔ Fitness ✔ Accomplishment ✔
