Valentine’s Day at The Connaught was all about spreading love and appreciation among our fantastic colleagues! Alongside the decorations and mouth-watering special dishes created by our chefs (including a chocolate fountain, of course), we set up an "Appreciation Corner" where colleagues could pick up a card and write a message to one another. The response was excellent! In the afternoon, our HR team became messengers of love and appreciation, distributing all the cards to our colleagues. It was a day filled with love, appreciation, smiles, warmth, and camaraderie!

The Connaught Christmas tree has long heralded the start of festivities on Mount Street. In the inaugural night, guests, neighbours, and staff celebrated together, enjoying hot chocolate, mulled wine and special treats. This year, influential British artist and sculptor Dame Rachel Whiteread has created a monumental work of encircling light – a motif that recurs throughout her artistic practice. Now, over 100 neon white hoops illuminate the magnificent Nordmann Fir, to create a bright beacon of hope, togetherness and contemporary design in the heart of Mayfair.

The Pumpkin Carving Competition at The Connaught is a tradition that is taken very seriously. Every year our talented teams unleash their imagination and creativity and use their skills to create spooky intricate pumpkin monsters. These sinister gourds face the ultimate test as they're judged by a committee who bravely decide which creation deserves the title of the "best" (or should we say, "worst"?) From Spooktacular wedding cakes to Wicked clowns, the teams pour their enthusiasm into every slice and every prop used. Look at the standards they set for next year!
