Make Music Day this Friday at Station Square! 🎶🎸 We are excited to host Make Music Day again in Cambridge, following the success of last year’s event. Make Music Day UK is an annual celebration of music-making with events in communities across the world on the 21st of June (to mark the summer solstice) and now takes place in more than 125 countries. Cambridge Station Square will be alive with music from 11am – 7pm, so there’s something to enjoy at all times of day. Take home a giant piece of art! 🦒 After 10 weeks of entertaining the residents and visitors of Cambridge, over 30 giraffe sculptures from the art sculpture trail Cambridge Standing Tall will be going under the hammer on Wednesday 19 June at Graduate Cambridge. Hosted by acclaimed auctioneer Natasha Raskin Sharp, from BBC's Bargain Hunt and Antiques Roadshow, all proceeds will go towards helping local charity Break continue their vital work in raising the aspirations of the county’s young care leavers. Thanks to sponsors Alan Boswell Group and Graduate Cambridge, guests will enjoy an exclusive sparkling reception and BBQ surrounded by all the beautiful sculptures from the trail.
