Micromax once a well known Indian brand has now lost its position to the likes of Xiaomi and Huawei and the company is no more producing any good devices since 2017. It’s Sub-brand Yu is also mum on announcements of any new products and both giants have lost their path. This is Due to the fact of producing Chinese re-branded products and selling them under made in Indiainitiative, which no longer works.

However, the company launched a pair of devices in 2018 called the Canvas 1 2018, a successor of the legendary Canvas series back in 2013. But sadly the device runs on standard specs and runs on Android Nougat in 2018, which readily suggest you that none of the phones launched by the company is getting any Android Pie 9.0 treatment.
