West Ham sign Wolves skipper in £40m deal

West Ham United have confirmed the signing of Max Kilman from fellow Premier League side Wolves.

The centre-back, who was made captain by current West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui during their time together at Molineux, has reunited with the Spaniard in a deal worth £40m.

The Wolves skipper appeared over 151 times for the Old Gold, helping them retain their Premier League status in the process, and was an ever present for Gary O'Neil last season.

He has penned a seven-year deal at the London Stadium, and becomes the Hammers' third signing of the summer following the capture of highly rated forward Luis Guilherme and ex-Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
