The Google Gemini app is an AI assistant that can help supercharge your creativity and productivity.
This official app is free. Gemini gives you direct access to Google’s best family of AI models on your phone so you can:
- Get help with writing, brainstorming, learning, and more
- Summarize and find quick info from Gmail or Google Drive
- Use text, voice, photos and your camera to get help in new ways
- Say “Hey Google” to ask Gemini for help with what’s on your phone screen
- Make plans with Google Maps and Google Flights
If you have access to Gemini Advanced it will be right here in the Gemini app.
If you opt in to the Gemini app, it will replace your Google Assistant as the primary assistant on the phone. Some Google Assistant voice features aren't available through the Gemini app yet — including controlling media and routines. You can switch back to Google Assistant in settings.

Google Pixel 8a treba integrovat, ale gemini nevie pomahat napr s nastavenim telefonu ako Google Assistant, ktory takymto sposobom uplne vypne a nahradi. Integracia by mala byt volitelna, alebo nejako nastavovatelna, co by ovladalo gemini a co google assistant. Takto mi pride aplikacia absolutne zbytocna, kedze sa da dat na plochu aj Chrome link na Gemini web app.

Every chat is losing connection with the internet. If I repeat the phrase, it starts to work. I think it's a small bug.

Gemini on the web speaks nicely in slovakian language, but android app not. Can we have nice slovak language in app? :)
