I can't believe the good reviews here. This app is absolutely abysmal. Ever single time I use it, it's laggy, terrible quality, and the video/sound delay is 5 seconds each way. It makes having a conversation nearly impossible. This has been this way for as long as I can remember. Hangouts seemed to worked better. I have zero problems with Teams and Zoom on the same phone with the same person on the same Wi-Fi or LTE/5G network that I use with Meet. It's honestly shocking how bad this app is.

đź‘ŤCan't believe I'm just now rating this app. My sister and I have been using it for at least 2 yrs,more actually. But we've never had nor have any issues. Even when 1 of us are in a different city and call each other on Duo/(Meet) it always comes in clear, both video and sound. We haven't used skype since DL this app, reason being there would be a short delay with sound and video, but NOT this app. And she has an old android. Plus the little extra faces & backgrounds are fun to use.

Today, Google pushed an update to be able to draw and let other people draw on your screen. I have been waiting for this or trying to code it myself for some time. Thanks a lot, this is so much better thab the whiteboard function. It just miss a screenshot button, but... Also, the interfaces for audio and video have been updated and are much better now. Thanks to the product team behind those changes!
