Widgets

Widgets are small blocks of content that can be added to your P2’s sidebar. They’re usually dynamic (so they get updated automatically), and allow you to make relevant information be easily accessible by your team.

Available widgets

These are the available widgets in P2:

• Team widget
• Tags widget
• Menu widget
• Pages widget
• Recent activity
• Custom HTML
• Image widget
• Text widget

How to add a widget to the sidebar

1. Open the Customizer from the P2 options menu.

2. In the Customizer, select Widgets. You may also need to select the widget area Primary Sidebar.
3. Click Add a Widget.
4. Select the widget you’d like to add from the list.
5. Customize it.

Remember to click on the Save Changes button to publish your changes!

How to remove a widget from the sidebar

1. Go to the Widgets section in the Customizer.
2. Select the widget you’d like to remove.
3. Click on Delete.

Remember to click on the Save Changes button to publish the changes.

How to reorder the widgets

1. Go to the Widgets section in the Customizer.
2. Click and drag on the widgets title to move them upwards or downwards in the sidebar.

Remember to click on the Save Changes button to publish the updates.
