NFC is working fine, contactless payment is working flawlessly with GPay, I also can reload my payment card via NFC, phone doesn't overheat crazy if just play game for a while, and this phone compared to Samsung Exynos from my region, is extremely cold on standby even on summer. One only could argue it might not has the best camera on a smartphone at that pricing, but other than that, it is a proper usable smartphone even can be used without issue from day to day usage, just don't buy the China version, just buy the global version with real Google Service built in for avoiding any message delay issue.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2024Nothing that a phone cooler can't fix. No phone cooler can fix the buggy mess that is HyperOS. The thermal throttling on this phone was bad, but not bad to the point of lagging on simple games. Post-update and it's lagging in practically every game I tried even when the phone is cool to the touch.

This is an Technician phone, If you are not a technician and want fancy day to day functions like you get on Samsung then this phone is not for you. For me as a Technician this phone is perfect. When I need it to do something as fast as possible I have everything I need to complete technical tasks as fast as possible. Same goes for Gaming. Battery draining to fast? Enable battery saver. You will be surprised. Phone empty? It charges from 0 to 100 in 20min.

Hyper os benefits that i noticed:
- fixed stuttered sound when playing audios or videos using mxplayer consecutively with Bluetooth soundbar
- hw+ decoded videos causing hang when playing videos if video was seeked for a few seconds. The only solution was rebooting when using miui, if not, you cannot play any videos on any apps
Disadvantages:
- still crashes when opening uc browser for the first time (same as miui)
- i feel like battery draining is getting worse or my usage is getting heavier causing 5 times charging in 24 hours
