mi 11 ultra or s21 ultra? i really dont know which one to pick and why, for some notes, im gonna get a phone in 1-2 years, and i prioritize features and charging speed.

Gaming... moreThe battery for this phone is bad... very bad. The phone consumes too much battery. Luckily, the charging is fast. Also, if you want to save some extra battery power, please use Full HD resolution (not 4K) and a refresh rate of 60Hz (not 120Hz). Additionally, please turn off the rear display and make sure to turn off the main screen always-on display to show the date and time.
In the end, there's no point in using this high-end phone if you can't use all those functions, haha. The most superb function of this phone is the camera. The camera is so good that sometimes you'll just ignore any other disadvantages.

benedict123, 06 Jun 2024how long will the xiaomi 11 ultra software update last? im ... morei think hyper os 1 and android 14 are the last updates cuz as far as xiaomi policy goes, 3 os upgrades(11 to 14) and 3 UI (12.5 to hyper os 1), so yeah xiaomi sucks when it comes to updates and they are slow to update there devices, try looking in to samsung and s24 line cuz of 7 year update policy.

lol, 13 May 2024Xiaomi 11 ultra has overheating issues taht are so bad it c... moreI've recently updated from MIUI to HyperOS and... it feels the same 🤷♀️
There are some small changes and new features I'm sure but my general daily usage feels identical, always been super smooth and never encountered this apparent overheating problem either. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I guess it does get warm when doing lots of photography work, but not with simple browsing.
For reference this is the China model not Global, running in English, 256GB/White and I imported it to Australia late 2021 - longest I've ever kept a phone and have no intention to change it for years to come 👍

Mine i fully charged and use around 2 hrs the battery drop to 30%. Or maybe i have too many apps on it.
