Otherwise in europe it's super easy. If you phone is damaged and warranty covers that shop deals with it not you. So it's easy + you have at least 2years of warranty.

I'm extremely disappointed to hear Sony isn't bringing this one to the USA. I had been saving up for this, ready to finally jump ship from my years-old Galaxy Note 10. The number of good phones goes down every year... I miss the days of headphone jacks, SD card slots, IR blasters, etc as standard.

Sony has released the price here in Singapore @ S$1989. Anyone willing to pay that kind of price for that kind of spec seriously needs a check-up from the neck-up... thank you and good night Sony !

Best phone I... moreI have a old Xperia 1 III in my shelf which I don't even use, and in my experience, the mark III is a mediocre phone with a terrible screen on time, screen brightness, speakers, thermal management(when the cooler is attached, it performs alright). And additionally, I have experienced a signal lost even when I was standing in a A+ 5G area outside. However, the cameras are just really, really, really, really good. That's why when I travel abroad, I bring with me the old Xperia 1 III to capture the unknown.

Been a HUGE Sony fan since I got my 1 Mk iiI. Best phone I've ever owned by leaps and bounds. Any nitpiks I had are solved by the 1 Mk VI (screen brightness, battery life). Absolutely DEVASTATED they are not marketing this phone in the U.S. Sony... Please reconsider. Signed... A huge, disappointed fanboy.

After using Xperi... moreI'm using 1 II now, was thinking about 1 V, but II was still working good and then decited that will wait for VI and will pre-order it. And now did it! II is still working good, but battery life is getting worse. Very worse. If want still use it as main phone, need to change battery. It will stay for work number now. Charging cable isn't standing still in phone anymore. Sometimes II is getting errors. For example, if want to open camera and take a photo very fast, I can't do it - shutter button isn't working so fast, need to wait some seconds when photo will be taken. These things are little, but it makes me angry when really need it. Some days ago screen and all was working, bet it was very, very dark. Helped only restart. I think, it's time to take 1 II in pension and let it work at chill mode :D
I had Sony - Ericsson phones before. When brand ended, didn't knew what to do next. Desided to try Sony. And still using Sony. Had 1, 3 and 5 Compacts, then XZ3 (now working for work number) and 1 II. If with Compacts had many problems with screen, changed it many times, then from XZ3 didn't change any screen. It and 1 II was falling many times, with II took photos under water, it was even falling in bath, in water, before that moment it was beated at edge of bath. And nothing. It only said, that I need to wait before charging cause water is in the USB port :D Love decision to get most expensive Xperias.
