The increased vertical resolution helps when you're browsing web pages in landscape mode. A good compromise since most people will do both, watch movies and browse the web.

Yeah you might get some pretty decent specs. But almost anything that doesn't belong to the S- or Note series is made out of plastic. Just a gentle reminder that you're still a poor.

This tablet is meant to be used for media consumption. Almost all movies will be streamed in Full HD (1080x1920). I wonder why they used a odd screen resolution like 1200x2000.
What will this do for the picture quality of movies?

Wow, those bezels are a bit too narrow Samsung. You should've made them at least 1 inch thick just to remind the customer that he's poor and not using one of your luxury high end device.

So suddenly Samsung decide to put a IPS screen in a tablet instead of the terrible TFT.
Nice job Samsung! Now hopefully a better brightness value than the cheap Lenovo tablets

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2020Samsung is moving backwards!nah, compare this with the samsung tab A 8.4. its released 5 months ago and it had the same specs as the samsung tab A 10.1 2019.
this one is a total upgrade since it has 4 speakers (instead of 2), a snapdragon 662 (instead of exynos 7904), a better screen, better camera and camera placing, while being priced really well
still, the 2017 ipad 6 is better than every single android tablet (other than tab S series thats not the āliteā one)

3GB RAM for 2020? Really bad. My 2GB tablet stopped being fluent in 2018, since then only 4GB and more RAM for efficient work.

User9392, 02 Sep 2020Basically a Tab S6 Lite but without an S-Pen. Yup. Same display, same battery, same cameras and even the chipset performance is similar. Kinda makes the Tab S6 lite a useless release especially when a cheaper Tab A series offers 80% of the features. Not to mention 2 MORE speakers and a horizotal camera placement. Thankfully the lite is discounted to justify the price a bit more -.-
