After 3 yrs. it is no longer working due to constant freezing or hanging for no reason. I did all the advice given to me like updating software, resetting, uninstalling most of the apps. Still, the problem is the same.

My phone updated itself while I slept, at first it was just slower, then I was having trouble tuning on the wifi for some reason, after I decided to restart to see if it would fix it, it's been stuck on a restart loop for a whole day, this last update just bricked my phone basically, I hope at least a phone factory reset fixes it, this is ridiculous

The thermals went haywire and it got stuck in a restart loop that would kick in after a minute of use. I had to fix it by factory resetting. good thing I had a sd card with 99% of my data. either way the thermal paste or whatever was failing is near its end of life so I suggest buying something newer AND WITH SD CARD SLOT.

I have been using this phone since the release. It's always been fast but recently it has become really sluggish and laggy. I think recent updates must have degraded performance.

Does its camera have focus pixels / dual pixels like the S7?
I am asking because Samsung quit using that term in their marketing, so we are not sure whether they are still used.
