In all my years using Samsung phones (except the S series), I think the A14 was probably much superior to many other A series phones.

So I bought this device in just a week and the fast charging option has stopped working... anyone with similar issue or I have damaged my device?

Viktor, 20 Mar 2024Its enough RAM in this case. Dont wory, I doubted at first,... moreThe Mediatek G 99 processor is actually a pretty decent chip set. It should do fairly well with most phone games. Except for the high demand kind, which typically need a high midrange to flagship level phone to run.

4 GB is just fine for most phone use applications. End apps. You don't wanna have multiple apps. Open it one time, especially if you have a browser open with multiple tabs. Other than that forgigaby's is just fine.

Would the 4GB ram be enough for regular phone use/apps? No gaming or heavy apps. Also for longevity.

It's feels smooth. And gaming performance is superior. Surprisingly no heating issues even If I play pubg for 2 hours

Recently picked up this phone... first of all, i didn't noticed i got a 6GB variant 😅
Battery lasts 2 days on my usage at work day and it runs pretty good actually, even games runs good at low-mid settings.
I love the big OLED screen it has, so for $176 its not that bad.
But i will only use it as a secondary phone for hospot.
My main will always be a flagship phone. 😎

Why it does not have always on display? Samsung just whyyyy? And also other galaxy phone have ability to remove objects from photo and extract text from video by press and holding on screen but A15 missing this feature. I don't understand the point of not having this feature on A15 while it has Amoled screen and good chipset.

memory works faster . There's also memory speed aspect. 2400mhz memory will never give same performance as 3200mhz ram . Cache latency , heat management, overclocking ... There are many variables here

OpposedScroll75, 10 Mar 2024More RAM doesn't mean more performance, it's how ... moreMore RAM does mean more performance. What're you trying to point out here? More RAM means the system has more space to operate as well as the apps has more freedom in utilizing the processor. It also makes the processors performs better in battery life because more RAM would mean that the CPU and GPU will have to work less to run or focus on an app, because more space means less stress on the processing process, and thus less RAM means less all of them. 6GB is already decent, never said it was bad to have 6GB, but It's the minimum requirement atleast for 2024. Even though right now I use a 2GB phone I can already feel how snappy multitasking is gonna be on an 8GB memory. In 6GB RAM you would still gonna notice some app refreshes after you left them running for a long time while the 8GB can reduce that and make the app run for a whole day or atleast half the day.
