This update seems to have actually improved the performance and made it a lot smoother. It is still an underpowered phone with stutters and unimpressive performance, mind you, but there is a very noticeable increase in device performance and responsiveness.
Signal reception strength is still bloody weak though. It is the single worst thing about this device.

my mom has this phone and its slow af, even though it has a good camera, the phone performance is mediocre at best, its better to buy the A14 5G or even an old flagship.

This phone is absolute trash. The battery sucks and it heats up quickly. At least it doesn't reach 70 Celsius like the a12, well, hopefully. It's performance is absolute dookie. Only a hippy would by it. If u don't have the budget, buy another cheap phone, but from another brand. Samsung phones are always and will be trash. Only their high end ones are somewhere good.

Strangely enough, the battery life has somehow improved on Android 14, while other people are saying the opposite has happened on other Galaxy devices. There is a little bit more sluggishness in overall performance though, compared to before.

if you have the 4gb ram model dont upgrade to android 14! its really much worse than android 13 and theres no going back becasue samsung also updated the bootloader so odin wont let you downgrade if you regret it.
