A few days ago, an update to 14.0.0.701 (EX01) was released. I installed it. Quite a large update, over 900 MB. The system seems slower at first, but it has to settle down. It looks like it was a complete system. So far I don't see any errors.

I used the mobile running Android 13 just for few days and then upgraded to Android 14. Did not notice any decrease in performance or battery life.

Battery performance and screen on time instantly dropped around 20 % and camera quality around 10-15%.
Please update about pros and cons of android 14. Thank you 😊👍🏻

New update just installed: realme UI 5.0, Official version, RMX3393_14.0.0.100(EX01). No more beta version. Somebody else installed it? Any issues?

I took a risk and installed Android 14. I don't know yet whether it's worth it, but I had minor difficulties with the access rights. For example, the Music app didn't show any albums, or local apps had a hang. I haven't tested anything else yet. Not much has actually changed visually. It looks the same for me. I'm sure you have to choose a different theme.

But also, I didn't notice any decrease after updating from Android 12 to Android 13. Of course, in time one can feel a slight decrease in battery, but I guess it's just the battery getting old.

Android 14 update in Europe arrived as any official update, it was my choice to install it. My wife's realme 11 Pro+ was updated several weeks ago, with realme UI 5.0 official version. Back to my 9 Pro+, the only issue I have noticed so far was the new Store Themes app. First it refused to launch, but after a forced shutdown it took its permissions and started normally.
The real question about this beta version, will it be another official update? Unfortunately, it might be the last major Android update for this phone. On the other hand, beta is not mandatory bad. Maybe they cut the cost for all extensive tests (that were already made on similar phones, like 11 Pro+ for instance) and since they didn't expect huge issues, they released it as beta, not to affect Quality Assurance procedures.

In fact, I also have a proposal for Android 14 and it is a Beta. For what reason should I install Beta? Very strange. I am not a developer. In Europe, Realme urges you to install the BETA version? Someone make a mistake?

Got yesterday realme UI 5.0 (Android 14) update in Europe, Romania, on my 8/256GB realme 9 Pro+. It is indeed beta version. Several graphic improvements. And no issues, so far.

I am using this phone sine last 2 years but i never update the operating systems and play store apps
It is one of the best device under INR 20000 segment
