Pink Pixel 9 shows up in another video, this time it's running
Yesterday, a video of a pink Pixel 9 made the rounds on the internet, but the device was powered off. Now a new video has surfaced showing the screen on. Okay, this might not be the same device as yesterday, but it is the same Peony color.
The video shows off the vanilla Google Pixel 9 from all angles. The most important feature to notice is the dual camera setup on the back – this year Google will also offer a small Pro model with three cameras (and a slightly larger display, 6.34” vs. 6.24”, but that would be hard to notice without a side-by-side comparison).
And the phone is on, you can briefly see the homescreen, Gmail and Settings. Not much to see, of course, as this is the familiar Pixel UI. There are some important changes coming with Android 15, including improved multitasking on large screens, but that will be more impactful on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold than the vanilla model.
Anyway, the phone in the video seems to be set to the Obsidian wallpaper rather than the Peony one, which is the wallpaper that matches its pink exterior. Here’s a look at the wallpapers, which leaked a while back and revealed the color options for the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Google will unveil the Pixel 9 series on August 13.

I remember it looking better (and less cheaper) than it did in the video.

a quick google search will easily show you the new pixel series is manufactured by foxconn, not Huawei. this political propaganda is getting out of hand
