The 4xx series is completely capable of running newer versions of Android. Take Nokia's X10, X20 and G50 running Android 14, for example.
Not a surprise why the SD480 is a better chipset overall compared to the 6 series chipsets, despite the lack of 4K recording.

the helio P65 is basically helio G70 and it is different than the P60.

The Nokia 2.3 for example, was decent enough for day to day tasks. It had a Helio A22, yet it's faster in comparison to the Galaxy A04 with theoretically better specifications.
Also, the later Snapdragon 4xx series processors aren't bad. The 480 is essentially a 855 with a comparatively weaker ISP.
In the end, the optimization and bloatware decides how well the phone works for the end user.

you have to suffer, 11 Jun 2024even for basic tasks, snapdragon 410 is horribly slow. just... morej5 2016 works better than samsung a31 with helio p60 on basic tasks.i had compared with my friend`s a31 with 4gb ram and it is slow af.wanna know why?bcz he updated to latest android that p60 cant take.thats why i am saying it.snapdragon 4xx series phones is not released anymore bcs it cant take newer android.As the guy who wants basic tasks,android 6 is bare minimum for some apps.Even some banking apps support android 6.The only issue is with old snapdragons is bcz they heat up crazy.talking about helio a22 it is also not slow.My relative has an infinix with old helio a22 it runs okay bcz infinix doesnt give updates so he takes advantage of it.In conclusion,updates are the thing that makes the phone more hard to operate.

you have to suffer, 08 Aug 2023snapdragon 410 is not a step up. just because of numbers, d... morei use j5 2016 with snapdragon 410 as a multimedia device it still works better than any budget phone today.snapdragon 4xx series is not weak just old and not compatible for new os.Thats why we dont see snapdragon 4xx devices more often.same goes for redmi 4a with snap 425,j4+ etc.The guy you replied can rely on this processor as he only needs to do basic tasks.

This phone is the worst phone I've ever owned. I live right next to a cell tower and my service signal is either weak or I don't have any signal at all. I've contacted tracfone to see if they could do anything about it. They can not or will not do anything about it.

Still, it looks like it is slightly faster than Snap 215. I have a Nokia Lumia 640 DS with Snap 400 and 1 GB RAM and it is a brilliant device. Of course Android is a lot more resource hungry than Windows Phone ever was. Anyhow, Nokia / HMD wouldn't do such a stupid thing as release a Snap 410 device in 2023.

If it runs Android GO and has 3/4 Gigs of RAM, classic durable Nokia design, a decent camera and a price less than 100 Euros I'd buy it without hesitation. Currently I'm using Alcatel 1B with Snapdragon 215 and 2 Gigs of RAM with no major problems. Granted I'm on Android 10 GO, however in any case I don't overload my phones with too many useless heavy apps and I don't play games, the basics of telephony it does very well. There is an occasional stutter once in a while but nothing that would get on my nerves. The camera is the weakest point of Alcatel though, which is why a Nokia with Snapdragon 410 and a good camera would be a step up for me.
